May Naruemannalinee (nee May Noradee) has working experience on both UK and International projects ranging from masterplan to residential, hotel, cultural, mixed-use developments and furniture design. She specialises in luxury hotel and high end residential sector, with strong expertise in facade design, construction and the implementation of sustainability strategy as part of integrated building design.
She began her architectural training at the Bartlett School of Architecture where she graduated in 2001 with Bsc. (Hons) Architecture. She then went on to gain her AA Dipl. in Architecture at the Architectural Associations in 2004.
From 2005, May joined Foster + Partners, one of the world’s leading architectural design practices, where she worked on a wide range of construction projects and international design competitions including: The World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE (www.wtcad.ae); Khan Shatyr Entertainment Centre in Astana, Kazakhstan (www.khanshatyr.com); Sovereign Bay, a luxury marina and waterfront mixed-use masterplan in Gibraltar; and Sheikh Zayed National Museum, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
She had also worked with other internationally aclaimed architectural practices such as Zaha Hadid Architects on the Signature Towers in Dubai, UAE before moving on to establish her own design practice in December 2010 as Y-architecture to further develop her design philosophy, and later in 2012 as May Noradee Properties + Designs to explore her interest in residential property development.
